Legacy turns your life story into a book. You talk about your life with a friendly AI guide, out loud or by typing, a little at a time. Legacy writes those conversations into a memoir in your own words. You read it, change anything you like, and approve it.

You keep it as an eBook, and with Standard and Premium as a printed hardcover. Premium adds an audiobook. It works on a phone, tablet or computer, and there is nothing to install.

Every package is a complete memoir: guided conversations with your Legacy guide, a professionally written memoir made from those conversations, your review and changes before it is final, and the eBook. Standard and Premium add one hardcover book with standard U.S. shipping. Premium adds an audiobook. It is a one-time purchase, never a subscription.

Higher packages give the story more room and add formats. There is no fixed number of chapters, sessions, hours, or pages: your guide adjusts to the package, and the editor shapes the finished memoir from the story that emerges.

Yes, at any point before the memoir is finalized. The purchaser pays the difference as a one-time payment, and everything the storyteller has told carries forward exactly as it is. If the package was bought as a gift, the storyteller can ask the purchaser for more room from their account; the storyteller is never shown prices and never charged.

Legacy's first 100 purchasers receive 20% off one package, applied automatically at checkout. No code needed. It covers one package per purchaser, does not apply to additional copies or add-ons, and does not combine with other discounts. When the 100 are gone, the offer ends.

A full refund is available any time before the storyteller begins their first conversation. That first conversation starts only after the storyteller explicitly confirms they are ready. You talk with Legacy's AI guide. It asks the questions, listens, and remembers what you have told it, so your story is drawn out in conversation rather than typed into a form.

You choose a woman's voice or a man's voice. They are otherwise exactly the same. You pick at the start, and you can change your mind later.

A conversation with your Legacy guide, who listens, remembers what you have shared, and follows the threads that matter to you. There is no clock, no quota, and no test. You can speak or type, switch between the two, set a subject aside for later, take a break, and come back whenever you like.

Your first conversation: simply getting to know you and how you like to talk. Nothing to prepare.

No. Legacy is made for people who would rather talk than type. One screen, one step at a time, large readable text, and a guide that leads the way. Conversations work on a computer, a tablet, or a phone. If it would help, the person who gave the gift can request setup help for the storyteller.

That is completely fine. There is no deadline and no expiry. Your guide picks up where the story left off, whether it has been a week or a season.

As long as the story needs. Some storytellers finish in a few weeks; others take their time. Legacy guides the experience from the first conversation through the finished memoir, at a comfortable pace, without a year-long program of prompts. We do not promise a completion date.

Legacy uses AI to guide the conversation and to shape the storyteller's own recorded words into a memoir: their phrases, their meaning, their way of telling a story. Legacy preserves what the storyteller meant and does not add events they did not describe. Legacy's editor decides the structure, pacing, and chapter titles from what was actually told. The storyteller reviews the manuscript and changes anything they like before it is final. The memoir is theirs, and they are its author.

Yes. The storyteller can type changes directly into the manuscript, and ask for revisions with help. Nothing is printed until they approve the finished memoir.

Standard and Premium include one hardcover with standard U.S. shipping, printed and shipped after the storyteller approves the memoir. You will receive tracking when it ships. Legacy is available in the United States at launch.

Yes. Purchasers can reserve additional hardcover copies at checkout: the books are charged then, and shipping is calculated by destination and approved by you when the memoir is complete. After the memoir is delivered, additional copies can be ordered as well.

With Premium, the finished memoir is also produced as an audiobook, read in the same guide voice you chose for your conversations. It is the voice you already know.

It is recorded after the memoir is approved. You can listen to it in your account, chapter by chapter, or download it and keep it.

Choose a package, select "This is a gift" at checkout, add a personal message, and tell us how to deliver it: we email their invitation right away, or on the day you choose, or you take the activation code and give it yourself. The invitation names you and the package, never the price. It explains what Legacy is in plain language and gives them a secure link to begin.

Never. The storyteller begins whenever they are ready, with no fee to start later. If they have not begun, you can resend the invitation, or send it to a different email, from your account.

The gift is the Legacy experience: the storyteller begins after receiving and activating it, and the memoir is finished after they complete their conversations and approve the manuscript. Please do not plan on a printed book arriving by a particular holiday.

As the purchaser you receive activation and fulfilment status only: when the invitation is delivered, when the gift is activated, and when the memoir is ready and on its way.

You do not receive their conversations, their manuscript, or their private progress through the storytelling. If they want to share any of it with you, that is theirs to offer.

Not while it is being written. The storytelling is the storyteller's own, and keeping it that way is deliberate: people tell their story differently when someone is reading over their shoulder.

Once the memoir is finished, it is theirs to share, and family can read it and order copies of their own.

Yes. You can upload selected photographs, letters, and other meaningful documents to include in your memoir. You can explain who or what each item shows, and Legacy can help place it alongside the relevant part of your story. You review and approve the images, captions, and placement before the memoir is finalized. Legacy will also warn you if a file may not reproduce clearly in print.

In practice it is simple: open your book, tap the passage a photograph belongs with, and choose “Add a photograph here”. Pick full page, half page, or small, add a caption if you like, and it appears in the pages exactly where it will be in the eBook and in print.

Someone the storyteller chooses to name as mattering to their story. It is entirely optional, can be added at any time, and can be changed or removed. A Legacy Contact does not get access to conversations or to the story in progress, and a quiet stretch never grants anyone access on its own.

What a Legacy Contact may do further ahead is being finalised with our attorney before launch, and we would rather tell you exactly what is true than promise something now.

Your stories are private and handled with care. You stay in control of your memoir and review it before it is final. Legacy uses AI to guide the conversation and shape the manuscript; it does not replace the storyteller's voice or judgment. We do not sell your memoir or story content. Our team sees content only when needed to help you.
